Tyvek removal robot
The robot that peels the Tyvek lid off each tub inside an isolator, modelled and animated end to end, with cloth simulation for the lid itself.
A soft lid, a hard machine.
After debagging, each tub still has a Tyvek lid sealed over its nest. The robot grips the lid, peels it back and clears it away, all inside the isolator.
The machine is rigid and predictable; the lid isn’t. I modelled and animated the robot’s full process, then used cloth simulation so the Tyvek bends and lifts the way the real material does.
